Hi, I just finished mounting the printer and when testing I found my Z-axis motor was not rotating clockwise. I’ve plugged the motor in one of the other axis outputs and it works perfectly. I’ve switched the motor control modules and it doesn’t change anything. Finally I’ve checked the CPU board and found a small solder bridge between 2 pins of one of the ICs (see picture). I can try to fix it but I want to be sure before doing anything stupid. And if I’m tempering with the board I’ll loose the warranty?
These pins are supposed to be connected, so this is not a problem.
Please check the wiring and maybe try with a different motor in order to check if the motor is at the cause of troubles.
The wiring is Ok. I’ve already plugged the Z-motor in the X-motor plug and it works fine. And I’ve got the same issue when plugging another motor in the Z-motor plug : the clockwise (Z+) rotation works fine (with the LED-8 glowing red) and I can’t get a counter-clockwise (Z-) rotation (with the red LED not glowing at all or sometimes with just a very short blink). And the park button has the same effect as the Z+ button : it moves the extruder arm a few centimeters Up!
So we must suspect the board then.
Please return the board for inspection/repair/replacement to:

Sorry for the inconvenience.
We’ll try to take care of this matter asap.
Actually I just found what the problem was : a faulty Z-Stop connector. I had already checked the Z-stop wiring and it was OK. I tried to replace the connector with a strap and everything went fine. One of the contacts of the connector was bent.
Now everything is running smoothly.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your quick response.
