Z axis is going in the up instead of down

Hey all of you.

I have the Vellemann K8200 3D printer.
And just today when trying to start a print, the Z axis goes up instead of down.
I have tried to measure the Z stop switch when the printer is away of the stop possition it measured about 10 ohm, and with the end stop switch is pressed down it measure open.

When using the Repetier program, to manual control the Z axis. It works as it should, when I press up it goes up, and when I press down it goes down.

Has anyone any idea of what I might have done wrong ???
Is there anywhere where I have missed something.
Thx in advanced.

Kind regards Russell

Did you manage to print successfully before?
Did you change anything on the printer?

Well the printer worked a few days ago.
I havent changed anything. Not even made an update to the new repetier software.
But I might try to make an update and see what happens.

Wen does the axis go wrong way? During homing?
If so, does it go all the way up until you interrupt it?

Yes it is in the start of the printing where it is homing all the axis. and then it only goes up for about 1 cm and then starts printing as if it was zeroed in.

That sounds like an endstop issue.
The endstop is normally closed, meaning the circuit must be opened to trigger.
check the wiring for loose contacs.

I have and there is nothing to see there.
But i then updated the Repetier software to 1.6.0 and now it suddenly works.
Strange and not something that I can explain. but it works for now.

Regards.

Really strange, but nice to hear it works now.
Happy printing.
