Dear Velleman team,
During the calibration of the Z-axis for the very first time the Y-axis motor started making a very loud bursting noise and stopped functioning properly. This noise happens when trying to move the Y axis individually with the LCD encoder knob and after activating the option “Auto home”. The Y-axis motor does not move at all when tying with the LCD encoder knob. However, after disabling the motors, moving the printing head manually and activating “Auto home” the Y-axis moves smoothly (noise free) until it reaches the “home position” then the noise comes back again even though the motor is not moving the belts, it seems stuck. On the other hand, the X-axis moves smoothly and noise free between (0-200) until if reaches the home location (after Auto home). Once at the home location, it performs the same bursting noise. I would really appreciate some tips to solve this issue. I am really puzzled because this 3D printer is supposed to be a brand new machine.
Thanks for helping!
Best
