Y-axis erratic movement

I just can’t get y-axis to move correctly .

  1. tested stepper motor on x axis kabel , flawlessly
  2. Changed driver for y axis, problem persist, same driver work flawlessly for X axis
  3. put y cabel on x axis, no problem
4, x cabel from motherboard y-axis to stepper motor problem persist.

so , cabel should be good, motor is good and driver is good.
I have uppgraded to latest firmware. Any other test I could perform or send Motherboard for a guarantee change?

Erratic movement is when motor isn’t even connected to any pulleys…

Checking driver voltage , https://manuals.velleman.eu/article.php?id=39, gives 0.92V so should’nt be the issue…

Adding: tried both firmwares for 1head , using nothing but arduino 1.0.6, beeing carefult reloading the failsafe settings and saving it to memory… still y-axis moves erratic… All tested but motherboard.

Sometimes you’re just amazed how dumbfounded one can be

Checked for other sources of error and found that the Y endstop connector was pulled out, almost all the way, from the Y- endstop. Causing the motor to run alittle in one direction but was stopoed in the other; Put that connector back in and motor worked flawlessly even on the Y channel.
