Y-axis controller fails

Y axis movement is dead. X & Z axis works good.
Actions already undertaken:

  • switched the 1.5A driver board = nothing changed
  • Plug the Y-plug on the X connector: Y stepper is moving

So I think there is a problem with the motherboard controller. How can help me? Can I examine some more things to be sure that the motherboard is defective?

When you’re trying to move the X axis, is the red LED next to the stepper driver switching on or flashing?

I can’t check it now because I have sent the motherboard back.
