After assembling the K8400 I changed the firmware for 1 head and made first steps following instructions from the webpage.
However when executing AutoHome, the X axis (maybe Y too?) does not stop and hits the pulley (so I have to disconnect the power). Z is ok.
I have repeated it more times always with the same result. the head simply does not stop at the zero position. Manual movement is working fine
I’ve checked wires, connections, no advise found in troubleshooting.
Just assembled my printer and hade the same issue but i found out like Raby wrote that it was the X axis belt on the back clamp that SAS stiking out and thus when going back the head assembly hit it instead of reaching the endstop. Solution was to make shure the belt didnt stick out. Everything is tight together so there aint much space for hickups like that hehe.
