-X direction fails +X works

The x motor will only work in one direction. Tested the motor plugged in to the Y port motor worked just fine. moved y motor to x port and same one direction only. so as to prove to my self moved y driver card to x position and tested again, still won’t move it both just one direction. So decided to reheat all the solder points, around the driver card, and the connector for the 4 conductor wires, no joy on that either.

what other possibles are there, is the controller card bad?

I just got this kit 5 days ago from local electronics supply “Frys Electronics”.

Check the X-endstop : is it lit? Check the wiring on both sides (bad contact).

From your writing i think the stepper driver is bad.
Or didn’t the Y stepper module work in the x slot too?
That’s not clear to me.

omg, i can’t believe i over looked the limit switch. It was wired wrong.

Thanks heaps for bring it to my attention. I just flat over looked that.

Yes, ichbinsnur i tested the driver by swapping it with anther it was good.

Then the driver board is faulty.
Email Velleman or contact your reseller for a replacement.
