hello everyone.
at first my english is very bad. im sorry for that.
a couple of weeks ago i bought a k8200. know i’m at the point of (USE THE PRINTER) part 2. k8200.eu/manual/printing/?c=002
the fist thing was to move the Z-motor. that was no problem. Then came the Y- and X- motor and
they wont move a bit. They don’t even make a sound! The extruder motor, extruder heater, fan and the heated bed work. I looked with my multimeter. all of the engine drivers have 0.425V also the X and Y driver. I tried to use Repieter 1.0.6. instead of 0.84 and still they dont move.
I don’t know what to do anymore. hope you can help me?
What temperature readings do you get for heatbed and hotend?
Can be the temp is out of range.
Also check the endstop wiring.
The endstops must connect in idle (non pressed) state.
First of all, use 0.55V for all stepper motors.
Second check the 15 Volts of the power supply.
Oh and, never turn a stepper motor by hand when it’s connected to the microprocessor cause as with any motor, it becomes a generator and can destroy the stepper driver.
You can use repetier v1.6.0
But the firmware of the microcontroller board indeed v1.0.6
There is a difference between firmware that the controllerboard uses, atmega 2560
And the 3D application that is loacated on the PC.
Firmware: arduino V1.0.6 sure not higher at this moment.>works
Reptier : V1.6.0 >works
Reptier and arduino, different companies.
If You encounter problems under reptier 1.6.0, then ok try an older version but this has no effect on the firmware as is.
You need to check all settings , that’s true unless you add the ini of the older version , saves afterwards editing a bit , just 200x200x200 mm
