I have ordered the valve. When it arrived, I tested it straight away and found that the valve does not close. Regardless of whether I apply voltage to the valve or not, water always flows. You can hear a noise and the water decreases slightly, but it does not close and water always flows.
Why does this not work and what can I do about it?

If your valve does not close properly when electricity is applied, it looks like it may be defective. Make sure the valve is first put correctly and that nothing is blocking it. Verify that the wiring and voltage requirements fit the needs of the valve.
