WPM404 : Vin close to Vout

Hi,

I am looking for a voltage regulator with a constant Vout = 12VDC to use with a 4s LiPo battery as input. These batteries have a voltage range of 12.8-16.8 VDC.

I was wondering if I could use the WPM404 and how it would behave with a Vout close to Vin (as low as 0.8V) ? I did not find any indication on the minimal voltage difference in the documentation.

It seems that no. With a charge, below Vin = 16 VDC, Vout is between 11-12 VDC.
