Did somebody try their Wood on k8400?

I try wood:

dropbox.com/s/wk5c8v0gn0jek … 7.jpg?dl=0

usual PLA settings 0.2 quality

Next step

I try a more significant print. This filament didn’t like retraction. It finish into a mess into the extruder mecanism. So finally, after some try, I print without retraction at all.
Result look like MDF. At 0.1 layer are almost invisible.

Yea and you can get a nice finish with some sandingpaper  Have you tried changing temp at layers to get wood grains?

Dont remember if Repeitier have the ability to change the temp based on layer. Simplify3D does where you can set a list of temps for dif layers. That way the wood filament get a grain effect by getting darker at some temps and lighter at some.
