Window 7 and PCLab2000se V3.1

I have a K8031 scope which was working fine on Windows XP. I have just upgraded to Windows 7 (64bit) and have loaded PcLab2000se V3.1. When I try to run PCLab2000se I get the error message “Cannot open the DriverLINX driver. Please run INSTALL_DRV.EXE to install driver”. I am running PcLab2000se from an administrator account.

I still get the same error message even after I have run INSTALL_DRV.EXE from an administrator account.

Please advise

I have tried deleting DLportIO key and rebooting but I still get the same problem. I have also tried loading PCLab2000se on another machine which is running the release candidate version of Windows 7 and I get the same problem.

The driver DriverLINX is not digitally signed.
It doesn’t run on 64-bit XP or 64-bit Vista or 64-bit Windows 7.

That’s a bit of a problem. I don’t want to down grade my main PC to 32 bit so I guess the only way forward for me is to put XP on an old machine and use that for my scope. Are there any plans to release a 64bit version as most new PCs are 64bit?

Thanks for your help.

I think there will be no 64 bit release for the parallel port connected oscilloscopes.
The new USB connected oscilloscopes PCSU1000 and PCSGU250 run on 64-bit Windows 7.
The 64-bit XP seems to be more problematic case:
