Will it print with a heated bed? Screwed PBC heatbed

Will the K8200 still print without a hea tbed turned on? I screwed the PCB from trying to solder the NTC on. The one side took fine but the other side wouldn’t. I’m experienced and it just wouldn’t take. Tried so much the pad is sort of almost gone on the PCB. :frowning: I’m still trying to set it up but having a problem with it starting to print. Im wondering if its because it is waiting for HB to get up to temp.

Depending on your slicer settings it will be able to print without heatbed on.
You can also disable the heatbed in the firmware completely.

But that won’t work very well i think, at least not for ABS.

Can you post a pic of your heater PCB?
Maybe you can fix it soldering a bit of wire to the traces, to bridge the damaged pad.
You can also try to solder an axial wired thermistor on the bed. (like the one for the hotend)
I had similar issues with mine, but for me the SMD thermistor melted, because my soldering Iron went bogus.

My first fix was to solder a spare 100K axial wired thermistor in place.
Right now i upgraded both Hotend and Heatbed to Thermocouple type K sensors.
