Wiki

Yes it would be fine because I didn’t backup all entries (including mines :frowning: ) and I still can’t have access the old website.

beem, you sould disable the soutwiki page to avoid confusions.

I just found in a thigiverse group that there is also a German wiki, at least on the K8200.
Do you know if it is possible to gather the articles from there without admin access, raby?

I could (and would) translate and supply the usueful ones then.

cheers,

Christian

I already tried to deactivate the shoutwiki, but haven´t found an option to delete the whole account yet.

I did delete all Pages already

Maybe you did this already, but perhaps add a redirect notice to the old wiki? Because google could be aggressive showing old data…

What I did now: I have added a Text on the Main Page pointing to the new location.

Raby will get all Backups in some Minutes.

Nice, beem!

Didn’t receive them yet.

User Login works.

Thank you very much for your help!!!

I`´m going to delete the former hosting aswell.

Hopefully, we will have a reliable hosting in the 3rd attempt

What do you think of changing back to the default mediawiki theme… I find it is better useable.
What are your thoughts?

Nice work Jack!

Do you speak a little german as well?
Then maybe have a look at this : k8200-wiki.de/Hauptseite
Perhaps we can “steal” some useful stuff there.
If you agree i will translate it, if we can grab it from there.

A little is the right word! But enough to understand. And you’re right this site is full of interesting stuff.

I don’t know what your seeing but I have the blue theme (Modern) which is the default one. Anyway you can change the theme in the Preferences tab

Raby, is there a way to archive that wiki pages without admin access?
Would make it easier to handle that copy/paste.

I’ll give a look at this. I still have to learn how to handle the software.

Okay, thanks.
I just thought you were more familliar with it tha me.

I think I found it.

You have to select “special pages”. The last item is “Page tools” : second topic = export pages. You have to know the name of the page(s) as there’s no list. You can export an XML file with the content.

Cool!

I’l immediately give it a try!

Hi, i just found copy and paste is lots easier.
I can directly get the formatting too thay way.

First Page imported, now translating …

k8xxx-3dprinters.crimed.be/w … ore_XY_Mod

Nicely done ;).

The wiki is a nice addition to the information we can find in this forum!
I have a question about the “filament settings” part of the wiki:
Is the flow rate used with the original vertex settings or is this the flow rate after you’ve calibrated the extruder?
