Could we please have a wiki that uses the same login information as this forum?
I think that there is so much good information in this forum but it is very scattered over several forum sections and posts. It would be very nice to have updatable articles.
Example of table of contents to start with:
[Fillament/print settings]
Commonly agreed best temperatures and flow rates for fillament, per material, per brand, per color/type.
[Upgrade howto’s]
How do I install that MK3 heated bed?
How do I add a power switch to my 8400?
[General tips & tricks]
…
[Extended FAQ]
Why does my print not stick?
etc, etc.
I think the community could do a lot of nice work if we only had the tools!
[quote=“beemeeup”]I guess this can be done bythe users theirselves??? Isn´t it?
Aren´t there some free Wiki Spaces available on the web?
Should be transferrable to another solution if Velleman is ready to set up their own.
Who is willing to join and Help??[/quote]
Why don’t you start one yourself?
I think you will notice it is a lot more work that thought in the first place.
I know what i’m talking about cause i’m moderating in another forum.

I also think there are many capable users that could help. I wouldn’t mind spending an hour or two every now and then writing and structuring content for a K8200/K8400 wiki. The main problem in my opinion is getting hosting.
I’m also registered now, and have made my first edit :). I am going away for a week on holiday tomorrow, but after that I will contribute as much as I can.
The good thing is that the wiki uses mediawiki as engine so when learning the format you can just google for example “tables mediawiki” and there is very good documentation available.
I just tried to copy and edit the Start page for the vertex to fit the k8200. but …
My browser doesn’t show up the edit page correctly, i can’t see the wohle page and the editor is clipped at the top.
Can this be a browser setting, or is the template faulty? (Firefox 35.0.1)
I also had to disable ad-blocking for the wiki to render normally :). I don’t know if it’s a bug or feature (probably intentional tbh since they make money by showing ads).
