Why Y ass not working correct anymore, tips, advice please

Normally, I have no problems with my k8200 printer. However, for some days, I have problems with the Y Ass, he is drifting constantly, once more than the other time. Now I’ve been trying to figure out what the problem is for 3 days. Have checked the engine voltage, this is exactly 55.5 volts, I also gave him more voltage and less but it does not matter, now I set him back at 0.55 volts, bed run smoothly, I can move the finger very smoothly , use oil to make even better running. The K8200 printer is expanded with 400 x 200 bed, which worked fine until recently. The belt is not too tight and not too loose, feels good. yet he only drives the Y ass. What’s up? Can I still get some settings to make him walk better? Als in the firmware and software i made changes so the printer is printer with slower speed in hope printing better but it doesn’t help, Z ass and x ass go fine. I use repieter software version V0.95f and slicr version V1.0.0rc3, use fast windows 7 laptop with plenty of memory and proccesor. Someone still tips, I’m getting tired of trying after 3 days and trying trying… please help.

There are a few things that may cause this.
The firmware: if you are running version 1 and there is a loose wire on the Y axis or the cable to the end stop is rubbing on the back of the frame this will cause an false end stop hit. You will see this in the log area of Repetier check the solder joints on the end stop and up grade the firmware to version 2. After the print starts all of the end stops will be ignored.

The driver for the Y axis maybe going bad. sway it with the X axis to see if the problem move.

The driver may be over heating place a small fan so it blows on the control board (Not the bed) to see if this clears the problem up.

Thank you for fasting support.
I think i know the problem. I have small fan right now blowing on the controlbaord and its seems to be oke.

I have recently a bed with 200 x 400, and when print the long site (400mm) he don’t liking that.

Print now for 3e times and looks great.

For people has a 20 x40 bed, please cooling the controlboard!!!

Thanks again.

There are some covers for the control board on thingiverse.com that have a place for the fan.
