Who can help with programming VM110 under VB2005 express?

Absolute beginner looks for support in programming VM110 with Visual Basic 2005 Express edition.

My plan is, to use the VM 110 as an driver / converter for an 7-segment display via USB. So, if I type an letter on the keyboard, the VM 110 switches the accordingly digital ports on.

And here starts my problem, in the VB2005 toolbox is only a module for a serial port not for an USB port?
Will the K8055D.dll fix this?

Any ideas how to solve the problem? :?:
What could be the next steps?

Extract the zip package and you can start the VB2005 project. Then just edit the code…

Currently I have the problem to read the keyboard. Has anyone an idea for me how to solve this.

Could you please explain the problem more detailed. Is it something that concerns the demo program or the use of the VM110?
