Hi,

I downloaded the host version1.6.0, set the Comms port and downloaded the drivers and everything runs fine under manual control although the screens are slightly different to those in the construction manual and I could not find several fields for setting.
I then saw your notification that there was an “all in 1” host, (drivers the lot- all in 1 download) that matches the manual so I downloaded that. (v .095)However, even though the Com port setting is the same, there is no response to manual control. Any ideas or should I stick with v 1.6.0?

I would stick with the newer version.
It has better versions of Slic3r and more important CuraEngine on board.

Thank you- I will carry on as I am-on the older issue, there is a “box” to enter “stopbits” in printer connection. There is no such box on the later version so I guess it is not necessary. There are some new tick boxes too, but they look straightforward, like “does the printer have an SD card?” Which I can work out! Also, you can invert the controls, which I don’t need to worry about.
