I’m planning to build/buy a velleman circuit which has to have the following specs:
- 1 input which will be connected to a sensor. This sensor will provide pulses (couple of pulses / second).
- 16 outputs (relays) which will have to be switched on/off in pairs (the current will be around 1Ampere).
And it has the behave the following way:
When the interface card receives the first pulse it should switch on the first pair of relays
When the second pulse is received it should switch off the first pair and switch on the second pair of relays
When the third pulse is received it should switch off the second pair and switch on the third pair
…
When the eight pulse is received it should switch off the seventh pair and switch on the eight pair
When the ninth pulse is received it should switch off the eight pair and switch on the first pair
…
Anybody that can assist me on which product is capable of doing this? Also some explanation on how to program this is greatly appreciated.
