What timer do i need

i am looking for a adjustable timer for a horn with melody for in a car.

this timer must me adjustable with a potentiometer so i can adjust the time it switches. maybe between 2seconds and 30sec.

it needs to work in a car, but i have a voltage stabilasor who stabilises the voltage to 14.4volts.

i want to use this timer with a relay so i dont need to run high current trough this timer.

can somebody help me with wich type of timer i need?

Have you looked at the VM141?

You may need to put a regulator in from of it to keep the voltage at 12 volts.

what voltage regulator do i need? can you help me build this thing?

i need 5seconds for a horn in a running car. so, when engine running i have 14.4 volts. current not an issue, i will use a relay to prevent high current trough the timer.

Thanks!

You should be able to go to an electronics shop and show them the specs for the VM141 so they can help you select a voltage regulator.
Did you look at the specs for it?
It has a relay built in.
No I can not help you build it.
Sorry )-:

ok i’ll take the case to an electronics shop and see from there. thx for your response!
