What Filament do you use?

Hi,

actually I’m using filament from NuNus.
And I’m not very happy with this poor quality.

It seems, that this filament is very ‘dirty’ and responsible for my problems with the nozzle.

So what filaments are you using?
And what are your experiences?

Thanks for your help!

I also saw the NuNus filament, but the rating on amazon seems to be a bit inconsistent…
Thats why i got the Velleman filament. It is cheap and i think they have it tested with the k8400

So for the start i won’t make the road more bumpy than it has to be and with eliminating the question of “is this problem caused by mechanic or by filament” i can focus on solving problems more effective

Hi,

I use esun PLA and ABS, I just reduce flow @ 80.

I use the Velleman PLA. It’s a bit on the brittle side compared to colorfabb’s, but it’s very cheap and it’s fine for prototypes.

I use 3Dprima’s. I am very happy with it. Never had any problems with their PLA or ABS. Recently started toying with other types and so far im happy with their filament.

I’m using mostly Esun PLA and ABS (this one almost odorless). Have also a roll of Polymkr making nice prints too.

Thanks a lot for your posts.

I can see, no one is using NuNus.
And I know now why
