Hi there, I’m trying to open the WPM422 water valve, which I just received.
I plug a 12V DC source to the wires. As there is not polarity indication, I use + wire on any connection, and minus on the other, as we should be normally expected to do.
I get a little noise and a short vibration, but nothing else occurs, and the valve stay closed.
Does anybody knows what is the trouble ?
Is the 12V power source powerfull enough?

The source is good.
The valve needs pressure to work properly. This was the trouble.
So it cannot be used if the water comes from an open tank, and this tank is not enough high to create the necessary pressure. This was my case.
