when i was ordering filament from a web shop i came across cleaning filament.
this is a special filament that should clean the inside of the extruder.
i could not find a topic about this filament so here is my warning to everybody how whats to try this.
don’t, right after the filament is fed, the extruder will get clucked.
the filament settles against the inner walls of the extruder so the nozzle is open but the extruder is full.
resulting in you having to take apart the extruder and very carefully (so you dont damage the nozzle) scrapping the filament out of the extruder.
i hope this warning will help fellow k8200 user’s from making possibly on-repairable mistakes.
Im sorry for the late response and by now it would probably not help cpmedia but for the people how read this topic i will answer said question.
I did use the cleaning filement as discriped by its manual, im not sure what temp it was but 250c sounds about right.
Well cleaning the nozzle after clogging i set the temp even higher but this also did not make the filement go out of the nozzle.
I cant stress enough that if you have any problems with dirty nozzles your better off cleaning it by hand, its a risky job but rarely neccessery. Youre probably good as long as you fully extrude filaments when you switch from one to the other
