Hi,
I need some information in order for me to quote:-

Let’s say I have 2 set of VM118( A & B with Xmitter & Receiver)
However, they both are located in the same area(or in the reachable range of RF frequency)

I want Xmitter A only send signal to receiver A,
While Xmitter B only send signal to Receiver B

Can this be done?
Would the signal from A affect B?

If I have more than 2, say 100, still work?

There are 8 different addresses available for the VM118. Remotes set to a different address will not affect eachother.
Please note that even if units have a different address, the remotes cannot be operated simultaniously.

thanks for reply, in this case, do u mean that in a small area, I can have maximum 8 remote & receiver?

Any solution if I need tu use more than 8?

My scenario:-

  • More than 20 houses in the same area (possibly reachable by the VM118 RF)
  • each house must operate its own remote & receiver (For controlling light)

Any solution?

As there are only 8 addresses, it is possible that the remotes influence eachother.
There is no solution for this.
