VMP402 7" LCD support in Raspbian Buster or Stretch?

Hello,
I have some questions on the VMP402

Velleman has a user manual for VMP401 5" LCD with resistive touchscreen and HDMI input.
Is there user manual for VMP402 7" LCD with capacitive touchscreen and HDMI input?

Does the capacitive touchscreen communicate via HDMI or USB connection?

All I was able to download was a SD card image file - does that contain a user manual?

Does latest Raspbian (Buster or Stretch release) support the VMP402 LCD and capacitive touch input? Or has product support stopped at Jessie release?

The touchscreen communicates via the USB. Hence the included USB cable.

Normally the VMP402 should be compatible with Raspbian Buster or Stretch.
The included OS software is a Ubuntu Mate 16.04 version
