VMA306 single pin mode possible?

is it possible to operate the vma 306 safely in single pin mode by connecting the OUT pin to GND?

This comment hints at the possibility but it’s not entirely clear.

By the way, the scheme of the vma is not found and the “Handleiding” doesn’t say too much.

Dear,

Output pin is not connected. So You can connect OUT - pin to ground. But it’s not needed.
