VM8201 does not work

Hi,

i’ve just installed the STAND ALONE CONTROLLER VM8201 according to the manual but it doesn’t work.
I can’t see anything on the display.

I’ve installed the firmware “FIRMWARE K8200 V2.1.1” (with Arduino 1.0.6).

Is there anybody who can help me?

Did you set the potentiometer that controls the contrast correctly?

Check the solder joints on the control board.
Take a close look at the ground pin.
Make sure the cable has proper polarity.
