My customer is using this VM8095 in an exhibition room. five buttons select five audio fragments, located in map A to E. Every map contains only one audio file. Sometimes, one or two times /month, the system starts to react pretty strange. Any button you press, it always plays the audio fragment in map A. Only a complete reconfiguration of the module can set it back to normal.
Any idea why this happens and a solution to solve this problem?
It seems the buttons B, C, D etc. are reassigned to play the file in folder A.
When the audio file in folder A was ended or the Pause button was pressed, then if any of the buttons B-F is pressed long, the folder A will be assigned to this button.
Only a complete reconfiguration of the module can set it back to normal.
You can easily return the unit to its original settings:
Disconnect the power adaptor.
Press the Play/Pause button and keep it pressed when the power is connected again on.
Now you should see on the LCD text “FACTORY DEFAULT”.
