How did you connect the 12V to the board, direct or by means of the cable with the black rubber circuit in the center?
Did you try with a different USB stick?
Hi. Yes I used the lead that came with it and I have a 12v supply via a transformer. I know this works as I connected it to my amp to make sure it powers up ok. I haven’t tried a different usb stick so Wil, do that. I did try a different mo3 track just in case but no difference.
If you are positive that is was connected correctly and if you have tried different USB sticks, then we must conclude that maybe the board is defective.
You can return it to your distributor for exchange.
I have two of them, no output. I’m using amplified computer speakers for the output. Is that adequate for this device? I hear no sounds what ever. solid 5v measured at the input jack. I’ve tried 2 different USB drives with several different mp3 files. Still not output.
Amplified speakers work fine with the unit.
It is kind of strange that both your units do not work. These modules are quite reliable.
Anyway, since this is a module, there is not much you can do besides returning them for exchange.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
