VM202 MP3 Player stops playing

Hello

I have a VM202 MP3 Player that is powered by SLA 7AH battery. When I turn the power on the unit starts playing and music comes through the speakers, but at random times the music stops dead. I know it is not the audio into the 12v amp as i have tested that part. Power into the board, floats around 5v. So its either the USB or the unit itself. I have had two same brand USB do the same thing

Thank You

Try outside the car and on a different power supply, to check if it is power supply related or if there are any interferences in the car that are picked up by the unit.
Make sure there are no bad contacts, especially at the USB stick.

The VM202 is in a Ammo Can Boombox, so it is working on a SLA 7AH Battery instead of a car battery, i have used a different battery as well. I can try it on a mains 12vdc? I checked the USB it seems to clean and clear, should I try a different brand of USB?

Just tried on Mains 12vdc, same problem

Then we suspect the unit itself is defective.
Please return it to your distributor for exchange if still under warranty.

It worked fine before my first ScanDisk USB corrupted, you think the ScanDisk USB corrupted the module?

Sorry, we have no experience with that. Could be.
