VM201 LCD Panel

Hello,

We have had a VM201 working in our office or just under a week now, and up to now has been working fine on a 12v AC power supply. However, when attempting to configure the device this morning, we are just seeing a row of black rectangles on the small LCD panel. Pressing the LCD button on the board does not seem to do anything. It does not look like the eight buttons for enabling/disabling inputs are working either. Please see the below image.

Would somebody be able to advise further into this issue? Could somebody also please advise what the dry contact jumper is used for?

I assume you didn’t power cycled the card?
Please remove the power and reconnect it again.
If it doesn’t help please try doing a factory reset.
See the manual

As for the jumper, this selects if the input is a dry or wet contact

Hi
Yes we did do a power cycle and a reset as described in the manual, and have spoken with a ESR electronics for advice and they told me to post on here.

I powered down after the picture was taken, so I will try again what you suggested.

Hi

Are there components getting hot? We suspect maybe a broken step-down switcher.
Anyway it seems like seriously broken.
Please return it to CPC
