I have just updated the VM201 to firmware version 1342.
The IP adress is now set to 192.168.0.100
The gateway to 192.168.0.1
the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0.
My Network is set up with static IP adresses.
Now a can’t connect to the vm201.
In my Network the gateway is 10.0.0.1 and the static IP adress for the vm201 was 10.0.0.10.
How can i get access to the vm201?
You will need to change the IP address on your PC to 10.0.0.2 then point your web browser to 10.0.0.10.
You will need to change the IP address of the VM201 back to your networks subnet
192.168.0.xxx
The Networks subnet on my local Network is 255.255.255.0.
So this is OK.
So it should be possible to get access to the vm201?
Sorry,
Subnet was a poor choice of words.
After you change the VM201 to the IP address you want then change you computer back to it’s original configuration.
You should be able to use the VM201 in your web browser.
You can’t combine 10.0.0.* and 192.168.0.*
They are different networks
