I have a stupid beginner question:
Where do I have to connect the VM201 to my 12V DC (not AC !! like in the manual written) power supply ? The left two connections are for 12V AC and when I connect the VM201 to the right two ones (the right 2 ones from the six, no. 3 in the manual), my VM201 shows nothing, the display stays empty and the LAN is not even blinking…only a small red light is blinking…

Just connect the DC to the same connectors for 12VAC. But for reliable switching of the relays 14VDC is recommended. 2V extra is needed to compensate the rectifier’ bridge.

Indeed, just like VEL760 said. Connect it to the AC input. (Doesn’t matter where you put the positive and negative wire)
I did the same with a 12v/4A power supply and it works like a charm.
Did some wirering so some of the outputs are now switching with 12V in stead of NC.
