VM167 & VM110N VB.net

I have a vb.net application that uses a VM167 and has been working for years. I need another application to run on the same pc that needs to read a single wire temperature probe and a single micro switch.

I have been using an ardunio nano but the serial port keeps freezing up.

Am I able to use a VM110N on the same pc as the 167 and address them separately?
