VM160T External Input

I’d like to connect an external PIR to an RF transmitter such as the VM160T.

Can I connect an external input to this transmitter (12v or 5v for instance), or can I modify the transmitter to accept this input rather than the tact switch?

Alternatively is there another product that will do the job out of the box?

If the PIR detector is equipped with a NO relay contact, you could connect it in parallel with one of the VM160T buttons…
