We have a VM154 with a blown R2 resistor marked brown red brown gold white (or grey).

Can you confirm if this is a standard resistor and what the white (grey) band signifies after the tolerance band?

Can you also confirm what would blow this resistor. Would it be caused by a connection error?

R2 is a 220 ohm/ 0.6W resistor (red red brown gold white).
White indicates 0.6W resistor.
At this time we do not know what could have caused the failure of the resistor.
