i have a problem concerning my VM151. like in many other posts it turns on by itself. I changed the code from the remote about 20 times… i got always the same problem.
I turn it of with the remote (both buttons --> notice by a short flash of the connected LED strip) but after about 10-30 minutes it turns on again from itself.
What could be the problem?
P.S.: From time to time i couldn`t even turn it of with the remote (no changing of effect possible either) because the LED strip is flashing in red very fast (don´t thing that this is a programmed effect)
Most likely, there is a 433MHz transmitter in your area (wireless thermostat, thermometer, audio system, door opener…) with similar code.
Also, if there is a small power supply interruption, the unit will restart.
First you have to determine if the power supply or an external transmitter is at cause of troubles.
Anyway, if you return your VM151 processor, we can exchange it for a version which turns the leds off at power-on, to avoid this problem.
