Hello,
I have just a VM151 module connected on a 5 meter RVB led strip. It works well. I can change the selected effect and the speed as discribed in the documentation.
But I can’t store the last effect. Even if I press and hold both buttons of the remote.
I always still have the red color at power on. I want the white color at power on.
Is this a known problem ? What is the solution ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards…
Not sure we understand your question correctly.
Does it start with static red or does it start with red in auto colour fade mode?
Does the unit turn off when you press both buttons simultaniously?
In the beginning it started with static red (like we read in the manual : static red, static green, static blue, static yellow, … 17 effects)
Our question was that we wanted to start in “static white” EVERY time we enter the bathroom, … (this is a normal color to have a quick wash of the teeth or to pick up some things in the bathroom …)
So after your reply I started again : I switch on and we have the static red … but now after some minutes, it changed in green and stayed green … very strange …
To answer your other question : the light doesn’t switch off when we push the 2 buttons on the controller.
Firm Mona Visa (Rumbeke / Belgium) can’t help us and asked for the same help to you as we do (I guess)
Why the manual doesn’t mention the change of the color-start? Most of the customers doesn’t like to start with red, I guess …
It is not normal that the unit does not turn off when you press both buttons.
That is also the reason why you are not able to select ‘static white’.
Please return the unit and transmitter for inspection/repair/exchange to:

Make sure to include a copy of this conversation, so that our engineers know what to look for.
You mean both buttons on the remote??
I do can select “static white”, but I want to stay fix on static white so it 'll be static white every morning.
Maybe the firm Monavisa (from Rumbeke/Belgium) didn’t connect well.
Thanks.
When you press the two buttons of the remote at the same time, the unit should turn off and the current mode will be stored in memory (there are no other buttons than the ones of the remote).
Next time, when you turn on the unit, it will revert to the same colour (see manual).
If it does not behave this way, then there is most likely a problem with the unit. In that case, please return the unit.
