VM148 Temp Sensor destroyed

Hi,
I have the VM148 built into a breading cabinet for small birds, and now one of the birds has destroyed the wires of the temp sensor inside the cabinet and probebly eat the rest of it. (Don’t worry, the bird has survived it, YET…) :laughing:

But now I need to get a new sensor.
Does anyone know what kind of sensor I need?
Like, is it a ‘normal’ NTC or PTC resistor or a temp. transistor?
I searched the replacement parts list on the Velleman site but couldn’t find a replacement sensor for the VM148… :cry:

The sensor order code is MCP9700-E/TO, your dealer should be able to get one.
