VM148 sensor cable extension / PT100 sensor usable?

Hi,

I want to use the VM148 module for temperature control in a whirl pool (35-40°C). The manual says to use a shielded cable for extending the sensor cable - but where do I connect the shield?

Can use the VM148 also with a standard PT100 temperature sensor? If so, what is the pin assignment?

Shield is connected to the ground wire of the sensor (measure with a DMM which of the three wires that is).

No, I don’t think so: as far as I know, they use an “active” sensor for measurement, while a PT100 is just a temperature dependant resistor.
