Vm134

Hi every body!!!Can VM134 program a PIC16F631?
I need to know before buy PIC.

Yes it will.
Please note you need a real RS232 port for this device, not a USB to RS232 converter.

Hi,
I found somewhere information that it is possible to use VM134 with PCUSB6 cable. Is it true ?

Basically, this device does not work with a USB to serial converter.
Some people claim it does and this could be the true in their particular case, however, we cannot guarantee it will work in a reliable way.

Hi all,
I have a VM134 and it gives a very good impression. In the list of the software (PicProg2009) is the 18F4680, it’s the last one. But it has a yellow “check” in front of the name while some controllers have a green “check”, for instance the 18F2550. Why is this difference?
My second question is about the message box that says:“There are configuration bit conflicts Do you want to correct?” Well, if I click “No”, will it take no further action besides putting the program in the controller? And what happens if I click “Yes”. Can someone tell me these secrets?
And thanks in advance of course, Remi.

Yellow means implemented but not tested.
Theoretically, it should work.
Sorry, we have no experience with the ‘configuration bit’-conflict.
Anyway, you might want to double check config setting if this message is diplayed.
