VM116 - Stand alone mode

The stand alone mode of the VM116 do not works.
The Power LED is not on.
What is the problem?

Have you checked the battery voltage 9V ?

If OK:
Do you get +9V to pin 3 of the voltage regulator VR1 when you press the button?
The pin 3 of VR1 is the pin next to C5.
You can use the USB connector housing as ground reference.
