Hello Everybody!
Today I got my DMX-Contoller VM116.
I installed the driver and programs and everything seems right.
But when I start the Demo-program or the DMX-Light Player my laptop shuts down and restarts again.
I also tried downloaded programs of velleman, but with no better result. 
I have got Windows 7, 64bit System.
Has anybody a guess, what to do?

Does the PC restart occur if the VM116 unit is not connected to the PC and you run the DMX_demo.exe ?

Without the VM116 the DMX_Demo is running, DMX-Light Player shuts the PC down.
I tried it on my Netbook (EEEPC with XP SP3, 32bit) without any problems.
Looks like a Windows 7 or 64bit problem, surprise, surprise

Here is the link to download new version of the demo program for the DMX-Contoller VM116:

This version uses new USB communication “engine”.
The files K8062D.DLL and K8062E.EXE are updated to version 3.0.0.0.
Please extract the package to a folder and run the DMX_demo.exe in this folder.
Does the PC still shut down if the VM116 unit is connected?
If not, then you can to copy the files K8062D.DLL and K8062E.EXE to the Windows subfolder SysWOW64.
After doing this you can try to run the DMX-LightPlayer program.
Now it works!
