I just bought a vm111 module.
I was trying to write demo1, demo2 to the PIC using the progpic2.exe, but it turned me back the following error message: write error at 0000, wrote 2812, read 3dfb.
I tried several times but the same story…
Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be?

Is it right that the vm111 doesn’t work with an USB to RS232 converter?
And is it possible this to cause my problem?

No the kit will not work unless you have a true RS232 connection, it’s due to the fact the kit uses handshaking that is not supported through emulators.
