VM110 - output problems

I have a problem with the VM110 card…

Sometimes, the outputs are randomly activated without any action…

After several tests, it seems that the problem is due to a tension variation… When the computer is not connected to the electrical network, everything seems ok.
When the computer is connected to the electrical network through a multi-socket, the problems appear… (and there are a lot of other equipements connected to this multi-socket).

Is it possible that the multiple connection of the several equiments (on the same multi-socket) can affect the USB supply voltage?
… and in this case, could the variation of the USB supply voltage activate the outputs randomly?

What can I do to avoid this problem?

Thank you for your help!

Arnaud

One possible reason to this problem may also be some sort of electromagnetic disturbance.
If there are long wires connected to the VM110 outputs and/or inputs, these may ‘capture’ some electromagnetic ‘noise’.
When the computer is connected to the electrical network, then the computer and the VM110 may be no longer ‘floating’.
This may cause some voltage difference between the VM110 ground and the external circuitry connected to the VM110 outputs and/or input terminals.
When the computer is connected to the electrical network, the ground of the VM110 may be connected to the electrical network’s ground.
