Hi. According to many online shops, the VM108 remote is capable of ‘continuous or burst mode’. I am using the remote with a VM109 to remotely switch on and off a PC (i.e. duplicating the power and reset buttons) and would like to have the remote continue to transmit for as long as I hold down each button (so that can hold the ‘power’ button to force a shutdown). At the moment it cuts off after about half a second. Is this possible? Thanks.
If the TRANSMITTER turns off after 1s of transmission, even when you keep the button pressed, it is in ‘burst’ mode.
Press and hold left upper button and press program button 3 times to generate new code and switch transmitter to ‘continuous’ mode. Learn new code to receiver.
If the transmitter keeps transmitting when the button is held, it is in ‘continuous’ mode. In that case, make sure to configure your VM109 as PULSE (See VM109 manual for how-to instuctions).
