VM100 to drive a transducer

Hello everybody,

I bought a VM100 to drive a tactile transducer (a kind of subwoofer) which can be found on this site:

clarksynthesis.com/clark-synthes … 39-silver/

TST239 Specifications: • Continuous power handling: 100 watts • Impedance: 4 ohms • Overload
Protection: Polyswitch • Frequency Response: 15Hz to 17kHz • Electrical Connecion: 3ft. - 16 guage,
2 wire • Dimensions: 8 in. diam. x 2.25 in. high • Recommended Amplification: 75 - 100 watts at 4 ohms

There seem to be some problems and I was wondering is the VM100 is suited for this transducer. I would think so but I want to exclude the possibility that the VM100 would not be suited.

Thanks in advance,
Bart

Sorry, but we do not have any experience with this kind of load.
VM100 has been designed for music signals on a conventional speaker system.
What kind of ‘problems’ do you encounter?
