VM100 problems

I have managed to burn out two of these modules when powered up.

I have used 2 different transformers, both known to be working and each time I get R6 destroyed and possibly other parts near that resistor. I bought a few of these modules to use in various projects, but now am worried I am going to destroy them all.

Other posts seem to point at the transformer being at fault, but both of the ones I use have worked fine before.

Any ideas?

Either a hook-up problem or a bad transformer (input voltage too high).
Hard to tell without being able to check out your circuit. Make sure transformer voltage complies with specs. Check hook-up. Do not touch the quiescent current adjustment, it is factory adjusted.
