Vertex K8400 and repetier host and CURA

Hello overthere

I,ve build a vertex K8400 dual head supported by Vertex 3D Repetier host V1.0.6.
Somehow even when I select “dual head” it stubbornly starts with only one extruder and thus the object
is build with just one chosen filament: support, raft and object .

Simple or intricate solution.?

Another one: In the CURA database are a lot of 3D printers to find.
However not the vertex K8400 dual head.

What printer in the database narrows most to the Vertex K8400 settings ?
Stated that the dual head in this case operates as a single head.

Hi

Please try the following steps:
Click configuration in the slicer tab
Make sure the the DUAL HEAD config is selected.

Select the Extrusion tab
Under the section “Multi Extruder Settings”
choose Extruder 2 at “Support Extruder”.

My version is in dutch, maybe the translation isn’t correct. Here’s a picture for reference
