Hi All,
I cant bear the sound of the printer as i’m unable to move it to another room. Has anyone investigated damping the stepper motors as they’re the likely cause for all squeaks and grunts the printer makes?
I’ve already got steel bearings on with plenty of grease as well as covering the magnetic joints in PTFE spray.
I know the extruder is exceptionally loud and will be combining @Psycho 's Extruder mod with a slight change of my own soon. But the remaining XYZ motors are also quite loud.
